Read More ...Over 300 girls from 18 LINC Caring Communities Sites participated in the Girls on the Run 5k race on Saturday, Nov. 22, at Arrowhead Stadium. The youth were cheered on by parents and LINC staff during the race.

Read More ...Independence Night Out Against Crime, held at McCoy Park this year, brought 500 area residents together with law enforcement from Independence and Sugar Creek for an evening of free food, family fun, and preventing crime through education and awareness.

The Independence community has been participating in crime prevention activities throughout September with fun family events at schools and neighborhood community projects. Crime prevention activities are planned through the month of October.
