CCCN is a team effort to build relationships between children and child care staff in order to improve the quality of infant and toddler care and education. Working together, center directors and CCCN specialists develop a plan to increase the knowledge and competencies of early childhood professionals caring for children under age three.
Support is available for Missouri licensed and/or church-based child care centers for infants and toddlers and pre-school programs accepting state subsidy payments in Jackson, Clay, Platte and Cass counties.
CCCN is funded by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
CCCN provides caregivers the tools needed for:
Building relationships with infants/toddlers and pre-schoolers
Providing tender, loving care. Helping children build attachments, regulate emotions, and self-soothe
Promoting children's intellectual, social and emotional development
CCCN offers three levels of service:
On-site consultation
Cohort training
Targeted training
