Individuals approved for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) can now get assistance from LINC.

Locations are now open in Jackson, Clay, Platte, Cass and Ray counties.

If I am referred, what kind of help can I get?

  • Employment assistance if you have skills and are job ready.

  • Training and work experience to help you learn valuable work skills

  • Support if there are obstacles that make it difficult to work — child care assistance, transportation and other social supports.

SkillUp - Free Job Training if you are on Food Stamps (SNAP)

SkillUP is a job training program for Food Stamp recipients to gain skills, training or work experience. SkillUP is free through LINC and Missouri’s Job Centers and can help prepare you for a job that can raise your income.
