Wayne City Landing Days commemorates Sugar Creek riverboat landing

The City of Sugar Creek invites the community to take a step back in time August 7-9 with Wayne City Landing Days in Sugar Creek, Mo. This free family festival commemorates the first steamboat landing west of the Mississippi River with live entertainment, food and craft vendors, historical re-enactments, contest, carnival rides, and more.

Saturday's free concert is to support the Wounded Warrior Project with performances from Delisa Dawn & Route 66, Honkytonk Renovators, Phil Vandel Band, Outlaw Jim & the Whisky Benders, and the Selle Brothers. Attendees are welcome to participate in timely contests including baking, brewing, quilting, yodeling, turkey-calling, historical costumes, and more to celebrate the early days of Wayne City Landing.  

Shuttle transportation to Wayne City Landing will be available.
