Independence schools announced for Project Shine July 12

Five schools in the Independence School District will receive the benefit of volunteers during Project Shine this summer.

Project Shine 2014 locations include William Chrisman High School, Pioneer Ridge Middle School, Bryant Elementary, Fairmount Elementary, and Sugar Creek Elementary.

Project Shine, Saturday July 12, begins at 7 a.m. Volunteers participate in cleaning, painting, and light yard work to prepare schools for the upcoming academic year. Project Shine is possible through volunteer efforts, sponsors, and donations.
