The young people loading food into the trunks of Kansas City families’ cars had traveled a long way. Their spiritual journey from Flint, Mich, brought them to the expansive weekly Wednesday morning food distribution that Morning Star.
Morning hype get-up-and-dance sessions, math and science that was real and fun, lively and personal writing, a trip to Science City in Union Station and daily motivational spirit all made the month-long camp special.
