Mt. Washington Neighbors residents come together during the holidays
Mt. Washington Neighbors held a Neighborhood Christmas Party Tue., December 17 to bring community residents together during the holidays .
Families from the LINC Fairmount and Van Horn Caring Communities joined with representatives from Mt. Washington Baptist Church, Mt. Washington United Methodist Church, Northeast Baptist Church to participate in hay rides and caroling around the neighborhood.
In the spirit of the holidays, Mt. Washington United Methodist Church donated costumes for children to dress up as angels, kings, Joseph, Mary, and shepherds from the Nativity.
Tomorrow
Santa will be at North West Community Development Corporation Thur., December 19 at 6 pm to present 300 bears to children, courtesy of Operation Give-a-Bear.
Coming up
Mt. Washington Neighbors will meet Mon., January 6 to plan a family game night for residents.
