KCPS to showcase schools during Cruise to Achievement

Students and families can learn more about how Kansas City Public Schools prepares students to enter college or the workforce during the Dec. 7, 2013, Cruise to Achievement recruiting event at Paseo Academy.

This free event will give all students and families the opportunity to interact with staff and receive information about the current academic opportunities occurring in KCPS.

From 9 am - 3 pm, KCPS will feature 35 informational booths representing each school to connect with families and students. Administrative staff will also be available to discuss college readiness, Common Core Standards, social services, health and wellness, and extracurricular activities.

Free family activities and performances will be available during the event along with pancakes in the morning and hotdogs in the afternoon.
