Cub Scouts and Pinewood Derby

Cub Scouts are designing, shaping and painting their pinewood derby cars, getting them reading for upcoming Pinewood Derby races.

The 15th annual Pinewood Derby Race at the General Motors Fairfax Plant will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2014, from 8 am to 11:30 am. This is a free event.

Cub Scouts from Jackson and Wyandotte counties can race their gravity-propelled pinewood cars against one another.

Come and experience the excitement of racing your pinewood derby car against other Cub Scouts. All participants will receive a ribbon, patch, and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will earn trophies. Cub Scouts must register by March 14. Space is limited.
