Morning Star and LINC get donation of Mahomes cereal

Morning Star Youth and Family Life Center and LINC received a donation of cereal featuring Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

About 100,000 boxes of Hy-Vee Mahomes Magic Crunch were donated to various groups including Morning Star and LINC.

The donations were arranged through a partnership with the Church of the Resurrection, which worked with LINC on several food distributions.

There was a distribution event July 20th at Arrowhead Stadium that included milk from Highland Dairy and fruit from Hy-Vee.

LINC and Morning Star have partnered at the location to provide over 25,000 COVID-19 vaccinations as well as food distribution and walk-in utility assistance events.

Morning Star Youth and Family Life Center is located at 2525 E. 27th St., Kansas City, Mo.
