Volunteers, local organizations to benefit local schools during Project Shine
Volunteers and local organizations will come together once again in the Independence School District during Project Shine Saturday, July 11.
For its eight annual year, Project Shine volunteers will continue to support local elementary, middle, and high schools painting, cleaning, and light yard work.
2015 Project Shine schools will be: Bingham Middle School, Independence Academy, Ott Elementary, Randall Elementary, Truman High School.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years-old. Volunteers are welcome to serve all day from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. or anytime during event hours. Monetary and supply donations to Project Shine are welcome to support the cleaning and maintenance of these schools.
