300 families receive free books during Garcia Open House
Garcia Elementary in the Kansas City Public Schools hosted a mid-year open house to showcase student work, engage families in the school, and highlight school programs provided at Garcia.
LINC provided 120 students and 200 parents with free books from First Book, chess games, healthy eating resources, Black History Month materials, KCPS information, and additional community resources along with a free dinner from Empanada Madness.
