Educare trainings planned for spring

The LINC Educare initiative will offer two large-group training events for childcare providers this spring.

The Thursday, March 21, training will be held at Maplewood Elementary School (North Kansas City School District), 6400 NE 52nd St., KCMO. Workshop topics include Disaster and Emergency Preparedness (Francis Institute for Child and Youth Development), and Child Abuse & Neglect/Mandated Reporter Training (Child Abuse Prevention Association).

A training will also be held on Saturday, April 20, at Lee A. Tolbert Academy, 3400 Paseo Blvd, KCMO. Topics TBA.

Child care staff who participate in the workshops receive clock hours, which are necessary for providers to maintain state licensure.
