Woodland receives renovations from community
On November 2, a service project of Woodland community members solved the present safety concerns in Woodland Early Learning Community School parking lot.
A group of 15 parents and community members volunteered to establish a designated bus lane at Woodland. Volunteers worked to receive materials and a stripping machine donated from Kansas City Public School Facilities. The project consisted of cleaning the parking lot, measuring the lines, and painting.
The Woodland community is currently planning additional improvements in the spring. These efforts include repaving the front parking lot and multilingual signage.
