Independence students participate in first combined service projects

Students from the three Independence high schools participated in a community service project at The Groves Senior Living Center on Oct. 26.

This is the first time the Combined Community Service Project was held.

30 students from various clubs across the three schools joined for the service project to rake leaves and speak with the residents. Students also gathered Thank-You cards and signatures from The Groves residents to active military men and women through A Million Thanks to be sent overseas.
