School Board School develops leadership within community
Over 30 people attended School Board School on Oct. 19. School Board School serves as an opportunity to develop leaders around educational issues within the community.
Participants attended seminars on topics such as election strategy, education policy and governance process. Seminars were conducted by KCPS teachers and board members along with representatives from various community organizations. The event was held at Penn Valley Community College.
This is the fourth year that School Board Schools has been offered.
