2018 SEBTC Benefits

Good news!

Your family has been selected to receive extra food benefits through the Sumer Electronic Benefit Transfer for Children (SEBTC) program again this summer.

Your family was selected to receive this additional benefit because your family:

  • Has a child attending school in the Kansas City, Hickman Mills, or Center school district, and
  • Received the SEBTC benefit in 2017.

2018 SEBTC Benefit Delivery Days and Amounts Per Child

June1 + July1= Summer Total.

This year is $45 +  $45 = $90

Benefits expire at 11:59pm on Aug. 14, 2018. 


  • The benefit amount is per child and based on the number of days when school is not in session during the summer months. 
  • Food Stamps and Temporary Assistance are NOT affected by SEBTC benefits.
  • The SEBTC benefits can be used anywhere Food Stamps are accepted.

SEBTC is a demonstration project funded by USDA to give families with school age children in the Kansas City, Hickman Mills, and Center school districts more resources for food needs during the summer months when school is not in session. This demonstration project is offered in limited areas.
