Born Learning Trail focuses on early education
Get active, have fun, and boost language and literacy skills. Those are the goals of the new Born Learning Trail at Woodland Early Learning Community School. The trail features ten interactive age-appropriate stations that tie the sign messages to the trail surroundings. The stations are based on early learning outcomes.
Last March, LINC along with community members and KCPS staff worked to install the trail signs and clean up the school grounds.
The Born Learning Trail was supported and funded by the United Way of Greater Kansas City in cooperation with the Kansas City Public Schools.
