Remembering LINC Commissioner Mary Kay McPhee: civic champion for education, civil rights, equality and justice
Mary Kay McPhee, a tireless advocate for the disenfranchised, the poor, the equal rights of women and for justice in health and wellness for all, died May 31 at 97 after a lifetime of wide-ranging work in social justice.
McPhee shared her enterprise and leadership as a member of the LINC Commission, becoming a Commissioner in 2002. For many years she served as chair of the Commission’s Aging Committee.
