The Hickman Mills School District is eyeing a bond issue election later this year and the board wants to hear what the community has in mind for potential projects.

The public is invited to a community forum Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. in the theater at Ruskin High School, 7000 E. 111th Street.

The school board has settled on a financial broker and the architect and engineering services for the potential bond. Now the board wants to give parents, staff, students, residents and business leaders in the district a chance to share ideas.

A second community forum will be held March 5 at Santa Fe Elementary School, 8908 Old Santa Fe Road.

If the board goes forward in seeking a bond issue, an election would be held Aug. 4.
