Human trafficking summit in KC to gather 'Companions on the Journey' against modern day slavery

People in the fight against human trafficking will gather for a community summit, “Companions on the Journey,” May 18 at Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral, 415 W. 13th St. in Kansas City.

The free forum will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and explore the legal, spiritual, emotional and practical experiences of victims of sex trafficking exploitation in the Kansas City community. Expert speakers with unique expertise and insights into the problem will lead the forum.
