Hickman Mills' Cargile named outstanding new superintendent

Hickman Mills Superintendent Yolanda Cargile is one of eight Missouri superintendents recognized by the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) for her outstanding performance as a new superintendent, the district announced.

Cargile was nominated for the honor by her colleagues in the Greater Kansas City MASA District. She was recognized March 27 during an awards banquet at MASA's spring conference.

The award is presented annually to superintendents in their second or third year as superintendent who have made a measurable contribution to the school district which they serve.
