LINC CFO/COO Robin Gierer to retire

After decades of service Robin Gierer, COO and CFO of the Local Investment Commission, has announced his retirement. Gierer was instrumental in writing the first grants helping to create LINC's welfare to work program, now LINCWorks, and the community organizing efforts known as LINC Caring Communities. He will serve until early May this year and will later consult in a limited scope on LINC's financial matters.

LINC Founder Bert Berkley recognized Gierer at the April 16, 2018, LINC Commission Meeting.

Gierer's position of CFO has been filled by Mr. Barney Barry, who has been with LINC since November of 2017.
