LINC chess tournament completes the year
Allison Shewmaker, a senior at Fort Osage High School, placed in Saturday's tournament. This was her last LINC chess tournament after participating for several years. With Allison is her mother Jeanette and LINC chess coordinator Ken Lingelbach who coached her over the years starting at Blue Hills Elementary
Over 185 students participated in the LINC 2017 end-of-the-year chess tournament on Saturday, May 13, at Center High School.
There were 36 teams represented.
