Fort Family Fun Day 2015 to prepare Fort Osage families for new school year

Fort Family Fun Day is a summer carnival which celebrates Fort Osage families with free food, games, and resources to prepare students for the upcoming school year.

Fort Osage community families and residents are invited to Fort Osage High School Saturday, August 8 to connect and have fun from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Close to 1,000 people attended Fort Family Fun Day in 2014. Attendees enjoyed free hot dogs, cotton candy, snacks, free backpacks full of school supplies, MoCHIP child safety registration, connected with Fort Discovery and Harvesters representatives, and much more.

"A lot of families looked forward to this," said Lisa Diaz, resident. "This could be the only family thing they do all summer because it's free. If you have three or four kids, you can't afford to do a whole lot."

LINC Summer Camp ends Friday, July 31, celebrate your family and community with Fort Family Fun Day Saturday, August 8.
