Over 30 AmeriCorps VISTAs are preparing to work with several Kansas City area non-profits during an expanded summer school effort in the Kansas City Public School district.

About 20 of the VISTAs will be working in the LINC six-week summer school program which starts June 1.

Upper Room, Boys and Girls Club, Freedom Schools and LINC will get assistance from VISTAs who were recruited by Turn the Page KC.
