LINC Chess programs keep students, adults playing in the summer
Kansas City area students and adults have the opportunity to stay improve their chess skills and become a certified chess instructor this summer with LINC Chess.
LINC Chess Camp and LINC Chess University will be held the last week of July at Woodland Early Learning Center in Kansas City Public Schools. From 8 a.m. to noon starting Monday July, 27 to Friday July, 31, students in LINC Chess Camp will work with certified chess instructors to learn new tactics to use during competitive chess play. Adults in LINC Chess University will become certified chess instructors. Those who complete the training can work with students during LINC Chess tournaments.
New this year
LINC Chess is excited to announce that LINC Chess and LINC Chess University will be held simultaneously this summer. LINC Chess University attendees will have the opportunity to teach students first-hand Friday, July 31 during the last hour of LINC Chess Camp.
