Hickman Mills early learning efforts gain attention

The extraordinary efforts by the Hickman Mills School District to address early education needs is gaining broader community attention.

Hickman Mills early education efforts are featured on a recent segment of KCPT - the local public television station and also mentioned by Kansas City Mayor Sly James in his recent State of the City address.

The KCP segment shares what the Hickman Mills School District is doing and its concerted efforts to "fund your priorities."

LINC is deeply involved with the two early learning centers - Ervin and Freda Markley - by providing after-school programs so that a whole day program is available to families.
