Hickman Mills STEM efforts highlighted by KCPT

A recent KCPT Local Show segment highlighted the efforts of the Hickman Mills School District and their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs. Students from Burke Elementary were tasked with building a stable structure with noodles and marshmallows. This is the second year of STEM programs in the district.

Kansas City based engineering firm Black & Veatch supports STEM education and programs in the classroom.
