LINC Chess K-12 Tournament at North Kansas City High School, April 5

With the season well underway, LINC Chess students are preparing for the upcoming K-12 tournament at North Kansas City High School on Saturday, April 5.

A LINC Chess student from Chouteau Elementary in the North Kansas City School District prepares to make her next move. 

As of March 19, 60 students have pre-registered for the tournament. The previous tournaments this year, at Fire Prairie Upper Elementary and the LINC Chess Girls Tournament at Holliday Montessori, have hosted an average of 210 students.

The North Kansas City tournament is open to all students in grades K-12 in the KCMO area. There is no entry fee. Students can pre-register at kclinc.org/chess.
