Area parents invited to 9th Annual Parents Summit

National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) and the U.S. Department of Education will host an upcoming one-day Parents Summit Wednesday, November 19 at the Kansas City Convention Center. 

All area parents are invited to attend the 9th Annual Parent Summit. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., participants can learn more about a variety of relevant topics including, Learning Styles of Children, Understanding the Missouri and Kansas Common Core Standards, Special Education: Understanding the IEP Process, bullying, federal student aid, and much more.
