Partnership distributes school supplies in Fort Osage

Community Services League and LINC partnered to provide back-to-school supplies for children and families in the Fort Osage School District.

School supplies were distributed on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Cler-Mont and Buckner elementary schools.

Over 400 students received supplies and learned about other opportunities available in the community and at the schools. 

Staff from the Mid-Continent Public Library were at both schools providing students with free books and telling parents about homework help and other resources available from the public library. 

This is the first time LINC and Community Services League have partnered at this level.

LINC recently produced a video for Community Services League highlighting its work in Eastern Jackson County.
