Grants for early childhood development providers now accepting applications
Funding for early childhood development providers is now available through Quality Outcomes for Children Professional Development Grants.
Grants are available for licensed or license-exempt programs in Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami or Wyandotte counties in Kansas and Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte or Ray counties in Missouri that have been in operation for at least one year.
Applications are available at the five free information sessions beginning July 30. RSVP to attend and learn more about professional development grants. Free door prizes, pizza and drinks will be available at each session.
Grants can be used to supply funding for training series, conferences and professional memberships for early learning centers, group homes and family providers. Professional Development Grants may be used for early childhood development, college coursework, or to complete or renew CDA certification.
Up to $1,000 per classroom is available to qualified programs who apply for the grant.
Quality Outcomes for Children Professional Development Grants are made available through a grant from the Hall Family Foundation and administered by MARC's Metropolitan Council on Early Learning.
