A+ Volunteers at Faxon Montessori - Video
High School students from Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing arts volunteer at the LINC after-school program at Faxon Montessori in the Kansas City Public Schools. They are fulfilling their community service requirement of the A+ Scholarship Program.
Of the 150 seniors in the program, 31 are volunteering at LINC Caring Communities sites in the district. LINC is working with Kansas City Public Schools to develop more mentoring and tutoring opportunities for high school students at other elementary schools.
