Fort Osage Child Safety Day is a Success

The first Fort Osage Child Safety Day was a community success about 400 people attending the event held at the Heisler/Burns Park in Buckner.​

The event included a bike rodeo, Life Flight Eagle helicopter, local law enforcement agencies and other community organizations.​

The Buckner LINC Caring Communities site council supported the community event.​

Buckner is one of five LINC Caring Communities sites in the Fort Osage School District.​

Event organizers hope the safety day will become an annual event.​
