Gladstone partnership to host second annual health fair
Gladstone Caring Communities will host its second annual health fair entitled Bike Safety Rodeo Health and FInancial Fair Sat., October 4 at Gladstone Elementary in Kansas City Public Schools.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with multiple resources and activities available throughout the day. Children are welcome to bring their bikes to participate in the bike rodeo, information concerning immunizations and additional health concerns will be available to families.
A partnership between Gladstone Caring Communities, KCPS, and the Mexican Consulate of Kansas City along with multiple local sponsors have assisted in making the health fair available to all families and communities.

Gladstone Elementary in the Kansas City Public Schools held a free Children's Health Fair. Those attended could receive free eye exams, flu shots, and bike helmets. Information on the Affordable Care Act, nutrition and dental health was also provided. Over 400 people attended the free community event.
