Crime Prevention Month Continues with Lights On Afterschool

During Crime Prevention Month in October, Kansas City Missouri area schools addressed the wide topic of crime prevention during Lights On Afterschool.  

Kansas City Police Department, Kansas City Fire Department, Aim4Peace, D.A.R.E., COMBAT, Crime Stoppers, and more partnered with area schools to discuss the topics of fire safety, anti-drug education, anti-bullying awareness, stranger danger, K9 unit demonstrations and the importance of reporting crimes
