Making moves: LINC chess tourney at Smith-Hale

It’s been quite a year for LINC’s chess tournament season.

Saturday’s season-ender at Smith-Hale Middle School gathered nearly 100 players from kindergarten through high school to wrap up a year of transition from the online tournaments of the pandemic to the familiar face-to-face battles spread out across a busy cafeteria.
