Success stories: How LINC helps courageous youth rise from broken pasts

Teens who grew up in trauma, who drifted from foster home to foster home or came under the state’s care, reach that doorstep to adulthood aching over the same needs as other teens.

These are the spaces where LINC’s team of youth advocates do their work, bringing state resources to bear, acting with great care and creativity to give courageous youth like these hope and confidence — the chance they deserve.

Hickman Mills 2019 Family Summit - Video

The Hickman Mills C-1 School District presented the second annual Family Summit on Saturday, March 30. The event featured many free resources for families and the community including: Job Fair, Health Fair, Dental Clinic, Free Child Care, Resource Tables (Emergency Assistance, Youth Services, Utility and Rental Assistance), free child care and activities for kids was provided by LINC. The event provided free food, prizes, games and much more.

New Missouri Job Center Branch Opens in Cass County

The Full Employment Council (FEC) and West Central Missouri Community Action Agency (West Central) has opened a one-stop shop for workforce development in Cass County. A formal ribbon cutting took place Jan. 30th at the two-story building located at 208 W. Walnut.
