Safe for you; see how LINC is primed for this most critical school year

We’ve learned a lot in the past year and a half.

And everything we know about hardship, strength, resilience and unity has primed us for what looms as the most critical school year probably in a lifetime.

Everyone has a role — parents, students, teachers, neighbors, mentors, all caring people . . .

Here’s our role. LINC is providing a safe-to-serve workforce, vaccinated against Covid-19, committed to your safety and your children’s health and prosperity.

We pledge to be there as the school year begins, just as we were through the 18 months of pandemic — looking after our families and our communities, concerned about your welfare, providing direct services and links to resources and partners to help with nutrition, rent and utility assistance, online connectivity, mental health and legal assistance. Check out kclinc.org/help.

We’re collaborating with our school partners, prepared to give your children safe recreation, extended learning, comfort and fellowship in before- and after-school programs you can trust.

That means new lesson plans, new and familiar games with our staff and our many partners, including Young Audiences, Mad Science, Urban TEC, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Everyone will wear masks. Our staff is vaccinated. We remain committed to providing clean and sanitized classrooms.

If you have not pre-enrolled, go to kclinc.org/enrollment today. Set up your interview with your school’s LINC Caring Communities Coordinator.

We’re ready for you.
