The morning’s cold rain turned into a sprinkle and vanished altogether as crisp sunlight broke out over the 2022 Fall Girls on the Run 5K just as hundreds of girls, parents, siblings and coaches crowded to the starting line Saturday.

The race, which is the climax of GOTR’s eight-week holistic program, played out under beautiful fall weather at Kansas City’s Swope Park.

Several LINC programs with their partner schools sponsored GOTR programs this fall, including Indian Creek/Red Bridge, Elm Grove, Topping, Carver, Foreign Language Academy, Phillips, Trailwoods, Faxon, Hale Cook, Border Star, Hartman, Melcher and Belvedere.
