An amazing mural by local artist José Faus was unveiled at Woodland Early Learning Community School in the Kansas City Public Schools. The mural depicts several cultural and literary themes that reflect the diversity of the northeast neighborhood around the school.

"I'm working and they are playing, I can't imagine a better connection to art than that kind of practical and living moment." José Faus.

Teachers at the school have used the mural to teach pre-K students about animals, shapes, and colors.
