Workshop to discuss law enforcement interaction
Genesis Promise Academy is organizing a workshop on reducing the risk of traffic violations and what to do if stopped by law enforcement.
The Traffic Violation Prevention and Law Enforcement Interaction workshop, open to ages 15 and up, is offered as part of the Urban Summit to be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Central Academy of Excellence, 3211 Indiana, Kansas City, Mo.
The event includes a panel discussion representing:
- Missouri Highway Patrol
- Kansas City Police Department
- Jackson County Sheriff
- Municipal Court Judge
- City Prosecutor’s Office
- KCMO Office of Community Complaints
- Local attorney & activists
