Mayor James promotes summer reading at Attucks Elementary
Students in the LINC Summer School program at Attucks Elementary in the Kansas City Public Schools had a special reading event with Mayor Sly James from the City of Kansas City, Missouri. Mayor James read the book "Officer Buckle and Gloria". KCPS Superintendent Dr. R. Stephen Green gave words of encouragement and support for students to read during the summer months. The program was supported by Turn the Page KC, Southwest Airlines, KCPS, and LINC.
