Fairmount and Sugar Creek Caring Communities partnered with local organizations to bring Operation-Give-A-Bear to neighborhood families during the holidays.

Over 200 bears were donated on December 19 to children at the North West Community Development Corporation. Families have received over 800 bears from Operation Give-A-Bear since LINC partnered with the Olathe, Kansas organization over two years ago.

This year, Great Plains SPCA and the Sugar Creek branch of the Kansas City Public Library partnered with LINC to provide activities and resources to families. Children participated in making several hundred dog toys for the shelter.
