LINC Deputy Director Candace Cheatem has been recognized as a National Public Service Recipient for her leadership at LINC working closely with schools and child care providers on seat belt safety. 

The honor is awarded by Lifesavers, a program of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and will be presented in mid-April in Denver at the National Conference on Highway Safety Priorities.

Lifesavers is the premier national highway safety meeting dedicated to reducing deaths and injuries on our nation’s roadways.
