KC C.A.R.E. to hold one-day free health clinic, April 18, 2015

The National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC) and the Kansas City CARE Clinic will be holding a one-day free medical clinic event on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Kansas City, Mo., at the Bartle Hall Kansas City Convention Center, for those in the area who have no or limited access to health care.

The Kansas City C.A.R.E. (Communities Are Responding Everyday) Clinic Event will offer free basic medical care and health education to the area's medically underserved.

Patients may call 800-340-1301 to schedule an appointment for the clinic.

Patients are encouraged to call ahead and make an appointment for this clinic event.  Walk-ins will be seen only as resources are available on a limited first-come, first-served basis.

Please note:

  • If you are taking medications, please bring your medicine bottles.

  • Parking will be free.

  • Medical Exams

  • Medical Tests including: Diabetes Test, Cholesterol Test, Pregnancy Test, EKGs

  • 3 Free Months of Prescribed Medication
