In-service training hours earned at upcoming Early Literacy Symposium

KCMO area early learning practitioners can earn in-service hours through KDHE (Kansas Department of Health and Environment) at the Early Literacy Symposium Sat., April 12 at the Kansas City Public Library-Plaza Branch. 

Chip Donohue, director of the Technology in Early Childhood Center at the Erickson Institute in Chicago, will deliver the keynote speech at 9 a.m. The speech will address digital media and early literacy in relation to librarians, educators, and parents.
