Facility improvements for the Kansas City Public School District are currently being discussed as part of the Facilities Master Plan. This plan is to identify the needs of the school community to accommodate for the district's future.

Share your thoughts at the upcoming meeting

Two public meetings this month will be held on Tue. Oct. 15 and Thur. Oct. 24, 5:30-7:30pm. Download the English and Spanish flyer to learn more.

Students, teachers, parents, and the community are encouraged to share their thoughts concerning the Facilities Master Plan. Key points of the plan include climate control, roof, athletic upgrades, safety and security, and technology.

The district is holding a series of public meetings and student focus groups, and this fall each school will have a designated area for people to share their thoughts on the needs of their school.

KCPS Forums is available online for the community to share their thoughts on  the Facilities Master Plan.

Feedback will be used to address school priorities, finance strategy, educational opportunities and other necessary elements for improving the learning environment for KCPS students.
